The du Pont model has been around for years but it still works brilliantly when you build financial models in Excel to evaluate scenarios. It's a great support tool for storytelling, benchmarking and financial strategy planning. The final section reveals how I used the du Pont model  to evaluate the purchase of a  Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
